Lovers... in a dangerous time.

In the midst of an historic, world wide pandemic, it takes a certain kind of couple to charge ahead boldly. I introduce to you, Julia and James.

Who knew that at the beginning of this year, getting married would be made the most difficult thing? As large gatherings were the first thing to go, it really hit all those couples looking to get married hard. And that was the case here too. That said, these two young guns were doing the right thing for the right reason. Planning and re-planning, changing venues, changing locations, changing numbers. Hard choices, tough decisions, pulling this wedding off was no easy feat. However… it was worth it.

There was no shortage of folks who sadly could not come. Not because you were not important, or that you were not wanted there… no. Just rules. Rules and borders and hurdles. The good news is I was there to try to capture the story. It was a good one. I wish you were there, and if you were, Thanks for making it a memorable one for this suuuuper duper sweet couple. It was an honour and a privilege to help capture the day. And if you are lucky enough to have this new married couple in your life, now is your time to support them! Married life is hard. Pandemic life is hard too. Let’s do our best and be there for them. Looking forward a year, I hope to see and meet all of those folks who couldn’t attend, as we celebrate this wonderful couple and their first year of marriage.

Proof of sweetness. So they were going to swing back through Stratford to drop something off, and I had mentioned it was my daughter’s birthday. So what do they do? Bring that little girl a bouquet of flowers!
